FAQ's

Do I need a reservation? We have limited seats at each event; reservations are required so that we can set a place for you! Tickets can be bought through Ticket Tailor at Https://buytickets.at/sciotopaintparties or email me (to Venmo) ahead of time through: Sciotocreations@zohomail.com.
What is the public class cancellation policy? A full refund can occur if you cancel at least 24 hours before the class starts. You also have the option of giving your ticket away or choosing another class (up to 2 times) if you are not able to attend the class you signed up for. Loss of payment will occur for "no shows" or cancellation less then 24 hours notice.
Do you hold private parties or events? Yes, we can absolutely have your private party here at the farm or at a venue of your choice. We love kids' parties, company team building, fundraisers, birthday, sports teams, baby showers and bachelorettes/bachelor parties. If you want to celebrate, we would love to celebrate with you! We have many paintings to chose from. Simply contact us at sciotocreations@zohomail.com.
What is the cost for a children's private party? For the studio, your choice of music, artist instructor, 11 x 14 canvas, we charge $29 each child for up to 2 hours 15 minutes. The paintings are aprox. an hour 15 mins, the rest of the time is party celebration and enjoying the farm animals. Bring in the food/refreshments that you would like, we have a kitchenette. (We have a great partner for birthday cakes). We have many paintings to choose from and will work with you to chose the perfect one for your child! Even if some paintings look too difficult, don't worry, we can simplify them. Or you might find a picture you especially like, we can do anything that is not copyrighted. We have space for up to 14 painting guests inside. Ask us about availability (date and time) through our email sciotocreations@zohomail.com and we will call or email you back.
Can you teach us how to hand "knit" a chunky knit blanket? Yes, we do that! Gather your friends and make a date to use our studio at the farm. We assist you to find the best yarn for this project and we provide the instructor, the cozy studio (complete with fireplace) and the satisfaction of leaving with a beautiful blanket and the knowledge of how to make one. Classes are three hours and $35 each for the instructor and the beautiful studio. We will help you source the 3 to 4 skeins of specific yarn that you will need. What is the cost for family or adult private parties? Is there a minimum number of guests? A 16 x 20 2 hr to 2 hr 15 min "class" or party time is $38 each guest, for a longer time frame (3 hr), it is $39. Occaisionally, we have alternate sizes of canvases or upgrade to wood plank for a fee. The minimum is 10 guests, we reserve the right to cancel a "class" for less than 6 guests. In that situation, we may refund your ticket or you may use it at a future event. Is there an age restriction? General classes are usually suitable for ages 12 and up because of the complexity of the painting. Many paintings are doable for age 7 and up. For younger children, we can simplify and shorten our painting time. In that case, let's talk! Do you have Paint Your Pet? How does that work? Yes, a painting of your furry family member (even if it is a gecko) is very special! You supply a photo of your pet, we add the image to a 16 x 20 canvas and then we teach you how to paint your beloved pet step-by-step . Your canvas will come to life! Classes are 3 hours long an $65 and can be private or public.
